The only best part of the book is that all the chapters are very small and they hardly cover half a page to maximum three pages. As otherwise, the book is a big disappointment. Although it was written by two famous authors from two different geographies, it has nothing which would excite a reader.
It is a very long novel with a lot of additional plots and innumerable characters. A normal reader would really get confused with the flow of this story.
There is no logic or proper reasoning for the serial murders and there is no strong connect for the Durga's depictions found in the murder sites and the motive. The story extends well beyond the climax and it appears as if there are two climaxes.
An one time readable book provided you have no other options.
